Three Blind Wines (Portland, OR): Smooth, red and black fruits, but not as big as I expect a Walla Walla Cab to be. I actually mistook this one for the RTW.

Opaque ruby in color, this well-made Cab offers nice aromas of black currant and cherry fruit, shaded with hints of violets and tobacco. It is full-bodied, fresh and silky on the palate, with well-integrated tannins and alcohol. Solid in the middle, it concludes with a medium-length, smooth finish. Already very drinkable, this is a wine which should be enjoyable for several more years. Drink now-2020.

Wine is young and tight. Needs to breathe. Deep, dark.
