Big and ripe and carrying really significant residual sugar, which can be felt and tasted everywhere: nose, palate, finish, mouthfeel, just lots of sugar, which I wasn't expecting, and I don't think it works well in this case. Lots of tropical fruit, of the pineapple variety. "Lush" would be one way to describe it. I'm not sure when or with what I would drink this, or if I would at all.

Big styled viognier, of course pronouced aromatics but on the other hand not much on the finish. But I am comparing it to the Vernay Condrieus that I have been pounding as of late. Which isn't fair. But in any case, a bit sweet on the back and not all that tight. Prefer the mineral funk of d'Arenberg's hermit crab or the Yalumba stuff.

Notes of pineapple, green apple, citrus and barnyard (the latter goes away with oxygen). Good amount of RS. Still drinking well.
