Soil, raspberry, nutmeg, damp tobacco, mushroom nose with a slight aspect of brown sugar. Silky, spicy, palate with great acidity and texture. Very much alive and expansive with lots to explore.

Tasting 5 Pinot Noirs at Primas. Soft, fruity nose that seems lighter in the mouth than its peers due to the typical success of Caymus barrel ageing that only shows hints of wood but is serious pinot with a very well balanced body that is intensely concentrated and has great flavors during a medium/long finish. My #3.
