Post Bday Celebrations; 3/1/2010-3/2/2010 (French Kitchen): Dark red and pretty deeply coloured for such an old wine. Dark inkish plums though primary but very juicy and suprisingly fresh! This tastes like it was a mere 8 years at max. I really can't believe this is as old as me. Some mintyness and tobacco mocha coffee notes come through as well. I suspect it would have been a monster of a pinot with enough stuffing to last so long! I suspect another 10 years is no prob.
