Although new jersey drinks a lot of pinot grigio, this pinot gris is not going to be popular down on the jersey shore. Unlike your standard pinot grigio, this wine, made from the same grape, is complex. Like many pinot gris, it has strong floral notes on the nose, emitting aromas of lavender and lime zest in the foreground and honeysuckle in the background. It has good acidity and a light, clean body with round mouthfeel. On the palate tropical flavors dominate: mostly lychee and lime that are reminiscent of the nose, but there's jalepeno on the finish. A feminine wine, but it's spicy!

Nice balance between the crisp tartness and residual sweetness. Some lemon.
