Consistent with previous notes, only feels like it put on more weight in the palate, which is good. Had with halibut, again, this time at Seastar in Bellevue. Drink this on the colder side as it seemed flabby after it warmed up.

Aroma: Woody off the start, shifting to noticeable oak. Floral, sweet, classic Chard-nose, giving way to vanilla, honey dew and some more general melon.
Other notes: Full body, balanced acidity. As the wine warmed up to room temperature, I noticed a slight booziness (checked at this point and at 14.1% confirmed). The finish was better with the Gouda and Cheddar, but turned a tiny bit bitter once it was warm and the pairing options gone.
Overall: Definitely complex and interesting to drink. Enjoyable and very good. It had the components to be a higher scoring wine for me, but the tiny bit of booziness and the slight tick down when at room temperature, kept this at a 91 for me. Overall, at the price point it is solid (definitely vs. some bloated Cali Chard), but I'd probably steer myself towards a Burgundy. Don't get me wrong, great wine and a solid score from me, just that it was so-so price to quality (in my books).

Decanted 2 hours and served with cedar-plank halibut, broiled sweet potatoes, and salad. Soft nose of lemon, honey, wood, and feint ginger. Round mid-palate of the same with slight grapefruit and modest oak. Finish is slightly sharp but will probably dissipate with age. Wonderfully-made wine.
