Excellent bottle of wine. Contrary to the ww report below this wine is 93% cab sauv 7% merlot. And only 147 cases produced. That said this is very dark and very herbal. Very balanced and complex. Smooth gentle tannins and a nice long finish with just the right amount of oak.

dark fruit, brown sugar, brioche on the nose. anise, graphite, truffles, spice, mushroom and licorice on the palate. Not really a big fan of this. found it gritty and a bit too upfront. Like someone else mentioned, this is really big juice and a bit too much for my liking.

palate: beautiful, fresh, juicy red fruit dominated by pomegranate and strawberry. tanninns have a slight bitterness like seeds. a good snap of acidity leads to a spicy, herbal, medium finish.
no bs. strong flavors, purity, refinement, and balance.

(Saviah Cellars The Jack Red Wine Columbia Valley) An aromatically appealing wine with dark cherries and huckleberries drizzled with dry chocolate. The palate is on the lighter side of medium bodied, very elegantly styled with soft fruit flavors, compact tannins, and a tart lick of acidity on the finish bringing a beautiful sense of balance. 86% Merlot, 11% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 3% Cabernet Franc. Pepper Bridge, Mirage, Elephant Mountain, McClellan Estate, Stillwater Creek, Frenchmen Hills, Seven Hills, Weinbau, and Conner Lee vineyards. Aged in American oak (30% new). 14.1% alcohol. 4,280 cases produced. Sample provided by winery.
