  • A budget botrytised wine (I found it for just 980 yen, less than 10 dollars or 7 euros).
Good for its value, some ripe peach and apricot aroma with fairly detectable botrytis hint (honey and nuts). There is also some sharpness, like dry herbs. Bitterness lingers on the finish.
On the palate it has a nice acidity, but I would have enjoyed some more consistence: the wine is a little bit too thin, but that's probably what you get for the price you are paying.
Quite simple, but as an everyday sweet wine it's ok.
