Drinking well now: leaning to the redder end of the fruit spectrum with some sour cherries and nice acidity. No tannin to speak of, but reasonable acidity and perhaps slightly fuller bodied than other 2011 Oregon Pinot Noirs I've tasted. Nevertheless, not particularly memorable.

Willamette Valley for Memorial day weekend and a peak at 2012; 5/25/2013-5/26/2013: Smells very minerally, with mild stemmy fruit. Soft palate entry with mild acidity and good ripe berry flavors. Slight mineral/metallic notion. Nice eruption of acidity on the finish, which also offers a good stony character on the lingering finish. Good tart cranberries which remain in my mouth for a considerable amount of time after swallowing. I've not been a general fan of the 2011 vintages on release, but this is showing better than most. Definite upside potential here with that pretty, interesting, long finish.. 89+

Green spice with a mild mid palate. Works it out at $20, way more fun at $15.

Some Fine 2011/2012 Willamette Valley Pinots (SF Wine Trading Company): Pale ruby. Prominent char and smoke. Light weight, tart light red berry fruit with some green herb. Smooth feel, light but good length. This reminded me of a minor Cote de Beaune wine.
