Pours a deep, dark garnet. At first, it was closed, closed, closed. Not a lot of texture, not a lot of aroma, just muted blackberry flavor. However, the last couple of glasses were absolutely stellar. Lots of fresh blackberry, licorice and dark chocolate, with the same sort or brambly, fuzzy finish that Ridge zins have. Surprising acidity in the finish. Not a whole lot of oak here.

Wines At Our Table; Week of October 11th 2015; 10/5/2015-10/11/2015: Bright purple color with appealing black cherry, red currant, spice aromas enhanced by pretty floral note. On the palate it's medium-bodied, well structured and fresh with black cherry, raspberry, spice, and a hint of mocha flavors. Soft well integrated tannins. Lingering sweet finish. 89% Zinfandel/11% Petite Sirah

I tend to agree with pretty much all of the most recent notes. This wine is about structure more than over extracted jammy zin flavor. I might be going to far but it reminds me of a Ridge zin in terms of style (not overall quality). Good fruit, good tannin and decent finish. That said, think it's in its peak window and won't go that much longer.

PnP. No detailed notes. Great spice in a subtle, refined Zin. Delicious.
