  I couldn't get into this. To be fair, it's long, glossy, and velvety, and picks up slaty minerality on the back end. However, it was sweet, voluptuous, and honeyed, almost botrytized, and didn't possess enough acidity to carry its thick, unctuous, orchard fruit. Is this the way this is supposed to taste? I expected more balance.
