  This thing was the bomb from cask and I’m happy to report that its full potential made it to bottle. It is dark and savoury but not overblown. Black cherry and blood plums are strewn with iron. It has some floral nuance and is deeply pitched with a strand of liquorice weaving through the flavour profile. It has exquisite balance and the finish is like sucking on a cherry stone. Could live for decades if you can keep your hands off it.
