The 2011 vintage has a different label on the bottle. Clear with deep intensity, purple to ruby and with few thin rivulets. Definitely dark medium violet color on the rim. Thin viscosity. Medium to pronounced intensity on the nose, but definitely clean, youthful, with Black fruits, spice, oak and toast aromas. Aromas of Black cherry, Blackcurrant, Blackberry and some dried prunes, fig. Dry in sweetness, high acidity, high tannin and high alcohol (14%). Full body with pronounced intensity. moderate on the palate. Flavors have not fully developed yet, but with predominant fruit flavors of black cherry, blackcurrant, some prune and fig, oak and toast flavors. Subtle vanilla and pepper flavors. Without resting there is not complexity of different layers of flavors (due to the fact that it is still developing and the high alcohol, but no burning sensation). A little bitter in the finish, with some astringency. Medium to long finish, potential for aging another year or two, but drinkable now, Good mid price wine.
