Like most of range the Tscharke range, this is an incredibly elegant, European-style wine. Great acidity and complexity. This is what the Barossa can do.
The Tscharke 'Barossa Grounds Varietal Collection' Marananga GSM (2012) was equally impressive.

Oak and tannin. Probably just past its best date for drinking.

Still has bright sweet fruit, but definitely developed from the last bottle consumed over 2 years ago.

Concentrated sweet redcurrant juice. Meaty with a hint of white pepper. Very long.
