This is a clear 4.0/5 Graves. Dark ruby with violet rims and long legs. Expressive and inviting nose, dark fruits, sweet spices, vanilla, tea and an alcohol whiff. 12.5 % ABV but certainly feels like a hot climate wine. Powerful acidity with a juicy sour cherry, cassis and plum core on a dry, earthy tannic base, Some licorice, eucalyptus, black tea flavors givss a nice complexity. Very enjoyable with more life to go....

A deep colour; quite full and dense on the palate, and still youthful; blackcurrant/blackberry fruit, rather earthy, indeed gravelly, as Graves wine is supposed to be. A sturdy wine, which may soften with time.

Quite ripe, polished fruit, attractive enough but a little weak in the middle and short on the finish. This probably needs 2 - 3 years, which is a pity as I bought it for current drinking.

Quite a bright, deep colour; very clean, youthful, polished fruit, well made in a modern style, but without much character behind the fruit. This may improve, although I am not sure how well it will age. Nice enough, but it lacks a little weight and substance at the moment.
