  • Wasn't expecting much from this, based on the other review of it, but I very much enjoyed it. Light straw color, and straw in the nose as well, with a little grass and citrus. Nice off-dry notes, not too sweet at all - balance of the citrus with some apple and pear. Resembles a Sauvignon Blanc in some ways. Went perfect with a cheese plate.

  • Medium yellow in color, this wine showed muted aromas of honeydew, green apple and white flowers. The mouth feel brought dry acidity with additional pear elements. The finish was choppy with uneven levels of acidity overwhelming the subtle fruit notes.

Purchased for $9.50US, this was a very disappointing bottle and not what I'd expect from a quality producer. There was not a lot too this offering and, if tasted blind, I wouldn't pick Riesling as the grape. Not recommended.
