Very taught and precise. Nose is a bit green fruit (under ripe papaya, tart apple), with some hints of petrol and smoke. Medium to strong mouth feel. A bit loose at first, then a more precise flavor emerges -- slightly tart lemon, some very nice acidity, hints of petrol. This still tastes very wound up to me. Intriguing -- curious to know what a few hours in the glass, or years in the bottle, would bring.

Nice floral, pear nose. Medium bodied with medium+ acidity. Floral, tart pear palate with nice weight.

Savory tropical fruits, papaya maybe, with green undertones, like peas. Tangy and long, though a bit monotone, and I'd like more cut and definition.

Terry Theise Austrian/German tasting (Milwaukee Athletic Club): A rounder feel on the palate with more citrus and orange zest.
