Tootsie Roll and Baking Spice greeted the nose, and at entry very light on the palate, a bit bland but a decent summer time red to entertain with, with a price point that is acceptable to the dwindling college savings plan for the kids.

served at our Evening of the battle of the Italian heavyweights as (Brunello vs Barolo) as a perspective wine and it held its own - slightly sweeter in the American version flavor of the Sangiovese than the Brunello and a softening flavor, which leaned toward be jammy when it was younger, moderate tears and a ruby color. I like this variety as an alternative red for the summertime.

This is a great compromise between cab and zin drinkers - served it a party recently and it was a big hit. Big flavor but very gentle finish. Sweet but not Jammy.
