I had this wine three years ago and found it to be very oaky. Fortunately, this bottle did not have the oak flavor so prominent in its flavor profile. It still wasn't that great though. I still have several bottles, hopefully it will improve with more time.

Pretty similar to last experience. Docked it a point because I feel the finish was a little more disjointed this time around. But overall still a solid wine in the $30-35 range. On the leaner side. Some leather, some milk chocolate, dark red fruit. Touch of a green note, but not off-putting. Medium - to medium finish.
Pulled straight from cellar and drank over 2 hours.

This wine was tannic and very oaky. Had one glass and opened another bottle intending to try Megahertz again the second day. In a previous experience with this wine it was better the second day. Couldn't bring myself to try it the second day and ended up pouring the rest of the bottle out. A year ago the wine was very tannic and it still is, or perhaps these bottles are flawed. Not sure. Anyway, unfortunately, I have 3 bottles left. Hopefully they will be better in another year or two but I am beginning to think this is just a bad wine.

Megahertz is Bello's second or third wine depending on how long you have been following this winery. In some years they have a Reserve, then a regular bottling and finally Megahertz. Megahertz is meant to be more of an every day wine. This experience was consistent with my last bottle, the wine was deep rich but too tannic at the moment and is probably better kept in the cellar for another couple of years. There is potential here though. Different from last time though, this bottle seemed to drop off a good bit the second day. I slipped up and opened this wine without looking at my previous note.

Excellent QPR and just starting to sing with a 1 hour decant. Typical but excellent. Wish I had more.
