This was basically enjoyed as the "nightcap" bottle after a long big party. This bottle preluded a 2004 Cimarossa Riva di Ponente. What a nice bottle this one has become, although I'm glad it's my last one (and I just got the 2012 release email too!). The mineral expression on this wine is just so very nice. On the front is a lot of that minerality that you get from that beautiful concrete egg process, yet is just packed full of honey, lemon, creme brulee, buttered pecan, that really expressed well when it warmed up. It still finished deep, very full bodied. Nice nice wine, but I'm glad the 2012 is right around the corner.

A little different with age. Butter and wood have found their way in. Still tasty.

Has aged pretty nice. A few years ago was all pinnapple. Now that been accompanied by grassiness and minerality. Agreed not great but solid wine.

I suppose the strength is in the balance...acidity and softness co-existing...no spectacular notes of this and that...just solid
