Higher points for varietal and resulting style. @MLCC and ~18$. A surprise here for complexity and tasting profile that is tasty and somewhat complex, if not a little young.
So, looks light/med in glass. Nose is a kind of spicy/vanilla/berry quality. There is oak lurking in there, but restrained and perfect balance. Palate is light/med bodied also - really like the layers here of Vanilla/spice/darker fruit.
Good match with current heat wave, and served a tad cool out of a short chill time in fridge. Good drinking by itself for some complexity and matchs with summer fare of all varieties. Good on you, Canada!
