This tastes a little bit like a cross between wine and apple juice -- not necessarily in a bad way, as long as you know what you're getting. A nice hit of citrus acidity on the finish makes the slightly off-dry profile work here, without being cloying. Good with spicy food; would have been much better served ice cold on a hot summer day.

Day 1 was like a sour green apple warhead. Day 2 was more lemon pith. If you enjoy either of these flavors to the extreme, then this is your Riesling - I would have preferred a bit more balance and minerality.

Smells like diesel. Candied green and red fruits, with some cut across the palate. Maybe could be drier? Maybe not.

Evergreen Vineyard. 100% Riesling. Ripe citrus and mineral, waxy aromatics. A little grape-y and a touch racier than the Dashe 2012 Riesling.

A nice crisp Reisling. Sweet but not too sweet. A little citrus. Paired well with a romaine, apple, blue cheese, pecan salad.
