This wine has matured very well in the cellar. Has become a fruit forward palate with strawberry and cherry with red licorice. Medium oak. Nose is a bit hot still.

Full bodied, fruit forward, with overtone of blueberry. We gravitate much more toward zinfandel, petite sirah, syrah/shiraz, and Rhone blends than to cabernet, merlot, or Bordeaux. This fits the bill well, especially at 14.99 from WTSO.

Not as good as the last bottle, as the richness of the fruit has lessened considerably.

Very good on the first day. On 10/9, was clearly oxidized, so best to drink up the night it is opened.
