Very attractive, and thankfully it's very obviously 100% Pinot noir! No Syrah here! On the lighter side, with a bit of tartness, and some mineral and forest-y hints to the cherry/cranberry profile. Perfect for its price-point.

Fantastic value. A very drinkable pinot, a little on the thin side and a bit of sourness on the nose, but not enough to detract from an otherwise very solid wine.

Single vineyard (Soledad). Solid for the price. Single Vineyard hitting the shelf for $16.99...either a great deal or a questionable vineyard...I guess it works.

Albeit somewhat unidimensional and simple, this is a very pleasant Pinot for the price. Medium ruby in color and sporting aromas of Bing cherries, violets and coriander, it follows with similar flavors in a fresh, medium-bodied frame. The tannins are tame and the flavors are in line with the nose. The middle palate thins just a bit but the resurrected finish is crisp and medium in length. Serve this wine with chicken, pork or salmon at a summer barbeque (preferably on the beach). Your guests will be happy and your pocketbook will not suffer. Drink now-2015.
