Spicy, smoky, brambly, intense nose, loaded with dark raspberry and very sauvage; palate equally intense with very tart fruit, strong Grenache bitterness, medium plus body, showing some grip on the finish; impressive and loaded with character for wine at this price point; I would prefer to let this settle for another year or two.

A classic GSM, seems dominated by Grenache, extremely juicy stuff. Served at 16 degrees Celsius, this presented itself perfectly with lots of locale, garrigue and a abundance of fruit. It will keep, but the showing right now will be hard to match, the balance is wonderful. (with BP at L'Artichaut, Montpellier).

Wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. Very nice Ventoux. Not acidic, smooth, balanced, nice black fruit with some peppery notes. Good QPR. Would buy again.

smoky spice. black pepper, clove, black fruit. some meaty notes. quite tannic, this could use a bit more heft to stand up to the structure. Good QPR.

Light nose and finish. Spice notes and dark fruit. Moderate tannins. Light oak.
