Bottom third of the cork broke off which was kind of surprising considering the age and condition of the bottle. Nevertheless, the nectar inside was excellent. Colour was orange blossom honey with aromas of tropical fruits, ripe citrus and hazelnut. Full-bodied and slick on the palate but the acidity balanced it out nicely. Slight oxidation gave the fruit some compote characteristics but not at all cloying and with good complexity. Finish was nice and long and paired well with lamb.

Drinking very well right now. Ctrus fruit and a hint of nuttiness in the nose and citrus and minerality in the flavor. Well balanced, medium to long finish.

Deep gold color with a trace of browning. Aromas of quince and almond skins. Ripe, nicely structured fruit in the mouth with very good depth and length. Surprisingly a touch oxidized in the mouth. Still delicious but not as fresh as I expected.

Did a cellar inventory over the holidays and discovered some “lost” bottles (that were not in my CT cellar), including this one. I was beyond pleasantly surprised by this wine. Pale color, beautiful fruit, full bodied without being over the top all underpinned by a solid structural spine. Should certainly be good/great for a couple more years.

Similar to the 2/7/21 bottle except a touch more oxidized.
