  Light hints of pear, yeast and honey on the nose. Steady bead of fine bubbles. On the palate, notes of apple, pear, toasted bread and honey, slightly nutty on the finish. Good mouth-feel and density. Not too dry, tastes a little sweeter than the 2011. Amazing value, would love to taste the rest of Gramona's line-up.

  A friend opened this at the start of his 4/18/15 Grenache tasting. It had a rich, focused bouquet of smoke, brioche, pear, apple, cinnamon, spice and mineral aromas. The palate was fresh, crisp and tasty with flavors of pear, apple, spice and minerals.

  Pop & pour. Clear golden color. Apples & brioche on the nose w/a spicy aromatic streak. Medium bodied, showing a ton of oak. More apples at first, but a strange tobacco/leather character appears as it warms. Clean & showing good acidity. Medium length finish.

  WON for me during cava tasting. Sweet kelp or fish food on the nose, with hints of raisins. Very sweet smelling.
  
  Tons of acid. Apple, raisins, with a touch of the fish food component. Very interesting for a cava.
