Very ripe, dried fruit, honey, cream. Very sweet but not really cloying in my view, with just enough acidity. Big and a bit heavy. Slightly spicy. Persistent and long. 90-92

Bordeaux 2011 from bottle (Park Hyatt Hotel, Washington D.C.): I did not really like this from barrel and that sentiment is echoed from bottle. While there is some verve on the finish, albeit muted, what bugged me is a cloyingly sweet palate, but I suppose some tasters who seek richness at all costs would like it more.
