  Very dark with purple hue. Drank a small pour. This was pretty decent for the price point. A bit on the herbal side, both on the nose and palate, but it has nice black fruit with cassis and some dark berries and sports a dense color. Medium bodied, cassis, berry, some oak, decent tannins. Overall pretty well balanced and drinkable. I wouldn't rush out to buy it, but at the same time, it drinks better than most of the garbage you find being poured at cash bars and various seminars/meetings and such. So if you run across it, you don't have to go with the beer. 86+pts.
