Very dark brown with a bright brown rim. Intensely aromatic. Dried fruit. Dates. A little lemon freshness which also touches softly the palate. Resolved tannins. Very nicely balanced. Still tension given by acidity. Great surprise.

Fruity, big and glossy, with blackberries, herbs and a heavy dosage of oak. Yet the fruit retains good freshness and is not overdone. Definitely polished and of high quality, but maybe lacking some character? Good to go, no hurry. 16/20.

Nice nose with blackberries and ripe cherries. On the palate more blackberries, fresh cherries and some wet forest floor in the background. A lively acidity makes this feel quite young. Soft tannins, nicely integrated. Medium bodied and medium depth. Short to medium long finish. In the perfect drinking spot right now. 50% Zweigelt, 30% Blaufränkisch, 20% Merlot

Purchased at the winery in late 2013 and stored in my cellar since. Nothing interesting going on. Ripe, oak, short. No animal as the previous TN indicated. I'll hold my other bottle a few and hope the oak integrates and something develops. Meh.

Has not moved since my last note. I would be the oak beats the fruit in this race though.
