Another most generous sample. 13.5% Frankovka/Blaufränkisch is continental Croatia's "standard" red and, while it's passable, I have yet to encounter one that would thrill me. Will this one do that? Sweet/sour tannic aroma, liiiight bloody? very light glue/leather notes, lighter still blueberry, spicy, sweetish and generally nice. About what I expected from the style. Taste? Mild, spice-forward, some fresh berry notes, slightly tannic? again. Nice, simple dryish mild red, nothing wrong with it, won't thrill you, but it does it's job as an "everyday" wine, very well. It's well ahead of the two other wines from the variety that I've had (different vintages from Orahovica) too.
