Day 1: Mature red and at its peak. Sour cherries, Asian spices, pine needles and blueberries. Medium plus finish and balanced. Drink now. 92 points Day 2: A nice dust quality has emerged. The fruits are not as prominent but still offers some nice spices and forest floor elements. Medium finish. 90 points Recommendation: Based on day 1 I would consume these within a year for maximum enjoyment.

I think this bottle was heat-damaged. Cork soaked through 3/4, really plummy tasting. Just not what I've come to expect from SofH. Poor storage from previous owners I'm guessing. Previous bottle from same WineBid lot was nice and very drinkable, but this went down the drain.

Pop & pour, and paired with delicious meatballs. Very rich, full body, with resolved tannin and velvety mouthfeel. Drinking extremely well, probably at peak now, and will hold there for a while. Drink now - 2020+.

This bottle started with a big dark fruit nose. It has a very dark color with a nice pink edge. Flavors are dark fruit, earth, and a little spice, all nicely layered. There's is a very long dark fruit finish. This is a really pleasant bottle of wine, perfect after surviving a very windy and rainy 8 year old flag football game.

Getting better. I'd still hold remaining bottles for a few years, at least.
