2nd of 2, last being in '15, and it's definitely integrated and mature now, though it's still sporting a medium (+) ruby color with garnet coming in just at the very edges. Cork was stained about 3/4 up. Aromas of dank and damp earth, dark fruits, and graphite. Medium body and acid, long finish, and flavors of dark fruits, maybe a little raspberry too, leathery dry spices, and a notable mineral core. Sangiovese/merlot blend for robust red sauces and meat dishes. I'd probably drink this over the next year or two if I had any more. Nice label design BTW.

Medium ruby color, just starting to veer towards crimson. Nose is kinda tight, but I'm getting some dark and dark red fruit, earth, and mineral. Light to medium body, medium+ acid, medium finish, and flavors of dark and dark red fruit, an earthy/leathery note, and some mineral on the backend. Enjoyable red sauce partner, but nothing too exciting.

First one of these in 13 months. An attractive, semi-translucent garnet in color, lightening quite a bit at the edge. Beautifully aromatic, offering powerful aromas of dark fruits, spice, earth and flowers. Full-bodied and quite rich, but not heavy or over-done. There's plenty of tangy, sour cherry and blackberry fruit here - intensely focused, with a lively acidity. Finishes with good length and lingering notes of oak and spice. The grippy tannins have not yet fully integrated, suggesting this still has a long life ahead of it. Polished, structured and delicious. A Toscana that drinks like a very fine, Modern-style Chianti. Paired perfectly with our chicken cacciatore. 50+5+12+17+7=91

Nice QPR and a bit better/smoother than a few years ago. Very nice pizza/spaghetti wine.
