Lots of fine chalk, strong minerality, softish acidity. The main flavour is of preserved lemon or lemon marmalade (similar to the flavour I got from this in 2014, when it was new). Hints of melon and aloe vera.

Some characteristic honeysuckle but over shadowed but raspy green (tannic almost) acidic finish. Better on 2nd night. Too young. Even though this is the aged version (museum release).

The acid is harder, more artificial than the 2012. Perhaps with time..? Though I tend to think this is a weaker vintage than usual.

Nice wine but hoped for more after 7 years careful cellaring. Maybe I'll wait a couple of years more for the next one.
