  Abv 12.5%. Amazingly fresh with apricot and stone fruit characters infused with spice wax and honeysuckle. Lithe, elegant and beautifully proportioned this showed incredibly well after 25 years. CHP 90 pts

  Excellent, has lived well,
  Colour: rich gold, green tinges
  Bouquet: tropical fruit, guava, pineapple, touch of honey, but very fresh belying age,
  Palate: touch of jungle fruit, honeysuckle, peach, smokey, otherwise like bouquet, crisp, full bodied, long clean acid finish, lemon and honey after tastes

  Tasted blind. Pale gold. Clean fruit, a bit of wax and honey, gentle citrus notes. Nice, softly spoken white. Guessed SA Chenin Blanc. Displayed no signs of age whatsoever on the colour, almost suspiciously so, looked about the same age as the other wines we had from 2011 and 2012.
