Enjoyed over ~3 hours. This is a rich and decadent 2011, which are adjectives not often used in 2011 - but this is Leroy after all. Loads of spice and tea intermixed with the black cherry. At peak.

Of the 2 brulees we've tried today, I much prefer this 2011 over the 2007. Much concentrated and more depth. But more dark fruit driven so less uplifting.

Something not quite right. Very green nose. Over 3 hours, hints of cork but very lively on palate.

Fresh and energetic palate with sweetness. A real charmer albeit slightly mute aromatically. (36/898)
