Initially there was a dominant oak character, which swamped the fruit. However, with some time/air the fruit characters emerged from wherever they had been hiding, and presented more of a challenge to the oak. Mainly red cherries and unripe red berries, rose petals in the mix too. The oak remained a real presence, not sure it is getting any better either. True to the Nebbiolo style, but less oak please.
