Another great bottle. On a plateau of maturity, no rush to drink. Slightly off-dry (feinherb). Lime, slate, very little petrol. Some honey due to oak aging (?). Drink or hold to 2022. 13% abv

Yellow gold colour. Nose of rose, musk, and lime marmalade, with hints of talc and mulch emerging with time in the glass. Palate is crisp and watery overall, though there is a touch of body (residual sugar?). Mild, dry flavours of lime pulp, lemon peel, and lychee.

Best of three recent bottles. Mid gold. Developed. Floral turkish delight. Honey and petrol. Bruised apples showing some oxidative development, but on point acid keeping this on track. A nice example of a mature Marlborough Riesling from an excellent boutique producer. Picked a bunch of these up for a steal, and have gone back for more.

No complaints, but no major joy either. Felt a touch awkward, auction purchase so maybe bottle variation or storage?
