Colour of liquid honey. Slightly dirty and reductive on the nose and otherwise pretty muted. On the palate a simple apricot note and a lack of intensity. Short finish. Cheap but not particularly good value.

Whilst fairly simple, the texture is very syrupy and the dominant apricot characteristic is pleasant. Some complexity and (just) enough acid to carry it through. Not a great wine by any stretch of the imagination, but good enough and very good value.

Poised raisin German style sweetie - not the intensity I'd expect of an eiswein, but a very nice drink
