  Opaque purple colour, stains the glass. Notes toasted brioche, vanilla, cassis, black licorice, violet, raspberry, blueberry, cinnamon, and a hint of clove on this full-bodied, gorgeously textured wine made from 90-year old vines in Las Compuertas, Lujan de Cuyo. Very long finish, 45+ seconds. The father-and-daughter team of Angel and Laura Morchio are doing wonderful things with this small project of theirs. Delicious stuff. Less than 2500 bottles produced, I believe. Drink now-2020.
