Flight 6, Germany - Rheinhessen I, Wine 2 (non-blind): Tasted at Louis Guntrum winery. The wine offered peach, pineapple and quince as well as some ethereal and mineral notes on the nose. On the mineral and salty palate the wine showed peach, pineapple, quince and a hint of tea, paired with medium-plus to high acidity and very good length. A very good, medium-bodied Riesling. At only EUR 11.- it offers a terrific QPR!
