Great winery, love their bottles, so heavy but the wine can be so good it's a disappointment because you believe there is more left but it's empty. This wine is perhaps on the downward slope. Still a nice with good complexity with good balance however I personally prefer slightly more youthful cabs with a bit more backbone. The older fruit is apparent. Drink up and enjoy for sure don't decant. PNP.

Lean if not austere. We recently had the 2005 which was sweet and too much. By contrast, this is more savory showing green pepper and mineral notes along with graphite. Serious Chilean cab vibes here.

Lots of Cabernet fruit whith high balanced acid and medium tannins. Full body and concentrated wine with sweet elements, long lenght but not very complex.

Deep purple/Magenta rim, 2.5 hr decant. Bold nose of black pepper, semi ripe dark cherries and wood. Prominent oak influence imparting Asian spices and smoked black fruits. Tannins are soft and ripe.
4.5 hr decant. Oak integrated well, faded away. Aromatically riper blackberries, black cherries, vanilla and spices. Soft silky tannins on the finish add marvelous earthy undertones with a delicious dark cocoa finish.
Full bodied, bold and balanced. Incredible wine for 2011! Happy Friday!

A bit rough on first taste but transitions into a more compelling finish of dark fruit, twigs and earthiness
