  • First wine of 2021!
    Did I chose wisely?
I had so many to go over in the cases I unloaded from storage, but most were known and I was craving unique and strange.
It's a rather big wine with mucho fungus, which I love. The texture is lush and grippy with that core of fungus and sweet tannins that turn into an earthen funk like warm mud puddle with trodden grass, wild herbs to lend a bitter taste with a unique strange flavor that I'll peg here soon enough.
Should pair very well with my rack of lamb.

    Good choice sir!

This is a baby, still, with very strong tannins. I would give this another 10 years, then try again.
