It is what it is. This is 8 - 9 dollar bottle of wine from a producer known to excel in that range. It comes across as, soft, simple, and a little flabby, but seems totally, or close to totally dry. It is not an intense concentrated wine, but it does taste like Pinot. The color is on the reddish side of purple. You can see your 2 fingers, but it is closer to opaque than most Pinot. Very smooth and easy on the palate, there is not much overpowering acid or mouth drying tannins. Soft, just barely adequate raspberry, cherry and blueberry fruit. Minimal red fruit finish.

The wine looks violet colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like cherry, honey and cool/menthol. It tastes like cherry, clove, chocolate, honey and molasses. The body is medium/full. The wine has juicy texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity.
Far too sweet, almost as if sugar was poured into the bottle. Very unpleasant.

Weekly tasting group #091; A fully blind test. (@ WW): Transparent red with a slightly garnet rim. Candy fruits in the bouquet. On the palate candy fruits again, some minerals, lavender and a firm amount of acidity. For me this is more a gamay style of wine than a pinot noir.

Nice ripe red cherry fruit, mellow and short dry finish with almost no tannins.
