A touch too simple for me, note really showing any development of toast or richness, but also not giving any vibrant fresh young acidity, maybe in a dormant phase. All in all solid wine but no x factors here would recommend holding for another 2-3 years minimum to see if this develops anything and if not, it goes to the quaffing section

A nice wine though I don't drink much Semillion to say a nice representation of this varietal. Light nose of some citrus and grapefruit; similar flavors along with a strong mineral note. And as others have mentioned, we've got acidity! and lots of it.

Lovely nose of grapefruit, lemon but with some tropical notes of banana and pineapple, too. Tart and acidic in the mouth but with some deep floral notes as well. Very nice. Perfect pairing with roasted chicken with orange and thyme.

Pre-tasting for the Wine Workshop (Home): Clear, bright, pale copper with reflections of straw and silver, moderate concentration, moderate tears. Reductive nose with plasticky burnt-match. Light body, diminished alcohol (10.5%), burnt match and coin polish, slight frizzante (refermentation in the bottle), reductive fruit - underripe white peach, peach pit, slight bitterness on the palate. High acid—strong tartaric with tart malic on the end. Overall, astringent, lean, reductive, and slightly bitter. I’m not a fan.
Score: 7.5

A good basic Semillon. Went well with a variety of dishes. At $16 I won't buy more. I am looking for a much better value
