I know that Wine Spectator gave this a 90, and it made their top 100 list of 2004, but I am going to be honest. I think they undersold how good this wine is. I am a red wine guy. But I am basing that on the fact that I haven't had that many good white wines that taste like this. This is a damn good wine. Pick up on floral and vanilla. The nose is almost sauvignon blanc like with as much citrus that jumps out at you. Having this wine makes me want to try some of their other varietals because this is a great wine for the price. They probably have more like this.

Best bottle of this I have had in the last several tries. Everything seemed to be brilliant and much more intense than normal with none of the bad aftertaste I have experieced in previous bottles.

I have had several of these over the past few months. Still very enjoyable. The only thing I have noticed is that the aftertaste is begining to show an off flavor. A bit of a stale metallic note.

Opened and served immediately without decanting in Spiegelau Authenthis WeissWein glasses. Light yellow to yellow color in the glass. Subdued nose and palate of pears, honey, butter and cream. In balance. Not an exceptional wine but certainly worth opening with non-winos on a hot summer day. B+ kind of QPR wine. Drink over the short run.

Pear and citrus with a long aftertaste. Best Chardonnay for $12! Hint of oak and butter but not overpowering. Very smooth.
