This was my initial impression on day one "A bit underwhelming for an '07 Napa cab. Feels a bit congested and the sweet fruit has a grainy texture about it."
But, on day 2 this sang like a bird - it's been a long time since I noticed such a significant transformation between day one and day two. This became so deeply expressive, beautiful dark fruit with a slight tobacco base, pencil led, so much body. Tremendously delicious on the 2nd day. 93++pts.

Similar to previous notes. This is quite pleasant, but has a slight grain and slight edge, and is missing dryness on the finish. Quite attractive though and nothing awry really.

This was very pleasant though I remember liking it more at the winery recently. I recently had the '07 merlot too, which was far softer, gentler and playful. This cab has a bit of bite to it - was expecting and hoping for something a bit more composed, relaxed and extended. i didn't decant this, but am thinking one should decant. Despite the age, there is still quite a bit of tightness here. Should improve more with a few more years.

Another library wine from Regusci and for me this was the WOTN. The '02 was a close second but this one was really memorable. Mouth coating and well balanced with the forest floor, cedar and pencil shavings characteristics just shining. Enjoy this now as they are really shining.

Nice dark fruits, softened by age and drinking well right now. Tannins not prevalent.
