This was in my opinion a really bad interpretation of Riesling. The nose is rather closed, and the only thing I detect are chemical tropical candy and some dirty dishwater. On the palate this is insipid and diluted, short, sour, artificial, and without any depth or body at all. A really bad, as in bad, wine actually. Not my cup of tea at all.

First day: Too acidy. Artificial scent with strong tones of gasoline. Second day: Better, more mellowed down. Grass tones on the nose, melon and green apples on the palate.

{screwcap, 12%} Just a smidgin of straw/green colour. Nose is fragrant and youthful; apples and brown leaves. Not a mile from a Mosel kabinett, but without the minerally steeliness they often have. The palate is generous with apple and custard flavours, has some residaul sugar, and - for me - just not quite enough acidity to keep it zingy and fresh. But the flavours are lovely; it's light-bodied and very easy to drink, with a beguiling sort of fresh spritziness for the first hour or two. Not something to cellar, though.
