Winery tasting and the highlight of the day. The current release from this Hill Country based negotiant is comprised of 100% Chardonnay using 2011 as the base year with smaller amounts of the 2009 and 2010 vintages. The wine is sourced from Robert Moncuit whose vineyards are in the Mesnil-sur-Oger area of Champagne. Made in a very classic style, with lots of tiny bubbles with notes of green apples, citrus, brioche, chalky minerality. Fresh mouthfeel and a long finish.

Excellent quality for the price. Very consistent with my tasting back in 2016. The party guests loved it!

we drank it on Christmas 2015, it was very good, would definitely buy again. we typically like verve cliquey, and this was on par.
