Slightly tart apple nose, with a hint of rosemary. Quite strong mineral flavours, with good length, but a little withdrawn through the mid-palate before delivering well towards the end. Just a little disappointing when sampled on its own, but proved a great food wine matched with fresh fish (NZ Blue Cod) and equally fresh Bluff oysters.
